o__O wow, it's 9 o'clock alread?? I haven't been home that long!

So, APIC festival is finally over! XD XD Yay!! Jen and Eugene did a great job this year, and I say that because this year's turnout was a lot more than last year's (at least it seemed so to me), and people stayed a lot longer. Having the Farmer's Market nearby helped, I think.

But anyway, cheering and such aside, I hurt. Well, mostly my feet, but that hurts enough for my whole body. I also have numerous bug bites (bleah) and uncomfortable spots all over my body, and my eyes are focusing weirdly. I never want to see another tent, I think. =__= Dad came to visit and switched my phone and number again. *sigh* so, people, ask me for my new phone number, cos I know I'll forget to give it to you, and then you'll be hurt and blame me for forgetting, and I'll feel sorry and curse my memory and then laugh at my stupidity. So let's all save ourselve the trouble and you can just ask, ok?

Good god there has been so much spoilage for me in the past few days. X2 is pretty much all spoiled for me, and Whitecat has just spoiled much of GetBackers for me (but in a good way~~). If I keep reading Whitecat's blog, I'm going to eventually learn everything about the series without ever continuing to buy the series, but, I want to read it so much~~. I want to find out how Raitei!Ginji met Ban, how they fought, etc. Of all of GetBackers, I'm most interested in that, and Dr. Jackal (cos like Whitecat says, he's a damn cool guy, and he's got this great sunny smile <3 <3) Ahh, soooo much spoilage!~~ *_____*

I can't wait to see the Matrix again. I won't spoil it for people by writing about it, which I don't feel like doing anyway. Suffice to say that it was good, Keanu Reeves makes me sigh in bliss, and Trinity is one kickass chick! XD XD She manages to be so cool yet avoid the Mary-Sueness. But it's true, now she's really just "the girlfriend". Hopefully her role in Revolution will improve. Oh, and Neo is a black-clad flying nun. What can I say? He has no fashion sense. And I'm not sure, but I think I gooeyfied everytime he took his shades off (which isn't often but SHOULD be often). The relationship with Trinity improves the movie a lot for me, although the whole rave/party/sex scene was, imo, completely unnecessary to the story line. The speech by Morpheus was corny and merely gave me a chance to contemplate the gap between his teeth. And Neo the superman. Hah. The action sequences are great, but sometimes overly drawn out, but I think anyone will have enjoyed the highway chase. *seriously considers learning how to ride a motorcycle*

*smacks self* And I said I wasn't going to talk about the Matrix. Well, it's a lot less than what I would have said. Anyway, flo is almost gone, can't you tell by my genkiness? It's strange considering I didn't get much sleep last night (what with Matrix and that abhorrence called zero-th period), and the fact that I worked nonstop on the APIC program today (finally done after... *counts fingers* 4 hours), and went to see the lunar eclipse at the marina with Maryam, that I'm feeling quite hyper right now. Indeed, quite chipper. I even spaced off on my friends at dinner early tonight and daydreamed about a certain face and smile. *manages to wipe imbecilic smile off face* I'm feeling no stress, and mostly normal again. (btw, Mom says that the reason my flo was so bad this time was that a lot of stress about the AP Calculus test and badminton held it off for too long, therefore, "Vengeance of the Uterus")

... Our anatomy teacher dissected a testicle for us today... I'm almost certain that it was a pig's. It was quite big. And disgusting. Naturally. ...... Somehow I find this harder to bear than digging around in a dead, preserved cat's stomach cavity.

Oh yeah, Melissa, I met Julia today. There was much "ooh"ing and "ahh"ing going on between the two of us. Stuff like "So YOU're Julia/Angela!" and such. ^______^ Very amusing~ She said to call you about "girl's night out". I don't know if I can do it.

*goes fetal* oh man, my poor knotted uterus... XP I spent most of yesterday curled up in bed with the most horrific cramps my body has ever had to experience. Painkillers didn't help at all. And when I got hungry and consumed food, the cramps got worse. I spent my time reading a book and sleeping, since I couldn't do much else. I also clutched a hot water bottle most desperately. Flo didn't start until late in the evening, though. No matter how hot it might get, there's that painful, cold, little knot of muscles below my stomach area that just sort of sits there and writhes once in a while. *shudders* I'm not going to get any work, school or otherwise, done, at this point. I studied a little bit for the anatomy quiz tomorrow, finished my SLR online just now, and am considering whether to tackle my theo-psych paper, my composition paper, or the APIC program. And wondering just how much I'll be able to accomplish today. If I wake up tomorrow morning healthy and hale, I'm going to kill myself, or at least curse my body silly. (cos NOBODY ever believes I'm sick, since I always get better before school starts... XP)

I'm tired, and I wish somebody would email, and I had a bad day yesterday with the AP Calculus test and the stupid League Meet (where we were late to because of the AP test and we got lost and arrived kinda late and I lost in the second round to some girl who kept on CHEATING WITH THE SCORES!!! BAHH!), but it was sorta made up today when Mom told me over the phone that I got some scholarship money. Didn't get back from League Meet yesterday until around 11 at night, had a huge migraine, fucked up legs, and heartsore from losing so unfairly. Therefore, I didn't get up this morning and go to school. Slept till 10, got up, went to YMCA (not as sore as I thought I would be, considering I haven't been there in a while), went to library to read, went to school to help paint posters for APIC festival, went to read at library, went to see "Identity" with Maryam, Joe, and Kevin, came home, had food, am on computer now.

Heard "Bring Me to Life" on the radio today and loved it. Am now listening to it on Winamp, over and over and over again.

And this makes me amused. XD XD

=__= aah, I'm still alive~ So, today, the second biggest dreaded day, wasn't so bad after all. Around 7 o'clock last night I got really really sick of studying, but I knew that the best thing for me to do was to go home (I've been studying at the library for the last few days), eat dinner, study some more, go to bed early, wake up at 3 o'clock, and cram a couple more equations into my head before I go take the test at 7:30. Well, I went home. And had dinner, watched TV with my mom, went to bed, slept through my alarm clocks (I had TWO of them! TWO!), woke up at 6:30, had breakfast, and went to school at 7:15. And then I doubled back to get my excused absence permission slip, with all the neat little teacher signatures in it. Ran back to school, sat around while everybody studied at the last minute wondering to myself why the hell didn't I bring a studybook to review. As everyone were settling into their seats (and people were still doing last minute studying), I realized that 1) I forgot to study logistic growth, 2) I didn't even LOOK at series, and 3) the words "slope-field" didn't even ring a bell.

But! But!! I was lucky~ I knew most of the stuff on the first half of the multiple choice, and most of the free response. I didn't do so hot on the calculator-permitted section of the MC, but oh well. And! And! It's over~ The stupid final is over~ And I have ANOTHER WEEK TO STUDY FOR THE AP!! *falls over*

Pssh, stupid calculus can't kill me! Mwahahahaha! I'm going to pass this test, but it won't kill me.

Oh, Mom just reminded me that neither her nor Dad got me a birthday present... What the hell? That was like more than a month ago! 'S not like I care now!

I don't blog for days and the first thing I do when I do is put up a quiz result. Bah, how sad. Well, I'm at the library right now, so I can't be online for too long. Plus, it's AP Calculus final next Thursday, and then the actual AP test the week after, so... X__x no blogging, no, seriously. If I even blog once between now and May 8th, I swear I shall hate myself forever. Well, ok, maybe a little break in b/w now and then just to say I'm still alive (which I certainly shall be! Stupid little thing like AP tests can't kill me! Bwahahaha!~ *dies*). But only ONCE! And kudos to me if I don't blog at all~~

And in other news, I got more Tokyo Crazy Paradise manga (6, 7, 8). 'Twas fun. Very fun. I'd say the TCP manga is 60% words and plot and 40% art, which suits me just fine, seeing as the story is very good, even if the art isn't spectacular. And I also got *drumroll* Saiyuki RELOAD!! HAHAHAHAHA! HAHA! But unfortunately there was only one volume. Does anyone know how far Reload has gone? I want more Reload. I also caved in and bought the first volume of Akazukin Cha Cha~ Akazukin Cha Cha, ha, what a great name~ And since it's an old series, there was no tax on it at the store. Whee~ I also looked for more Nishi Keiko stories, but I couldn't remember where I found September last time, so I couldn't find anymore. I was hoping to find Love Song there in Chinese, but... aah well.

Maryam got her car. :D We (the usual crowd) went to see Theater Rice perform last night. Ahaha, so funny~ and then Maryam drove us home in her car. She's a good driver. It makes me want to drive now.

Stupid stupid calculus. I hate you, and shall gloat forever when I'm done with you and in college and (hopefully) won't have to take any more math classes.

Harry and Draco are also both men. Which changes the scenario ever so subtly. We have two equals, people who challenge each other in terms of their physical as well as character strength. In the books, Draco is obsessed with Harry. I realize that this is probably just due to the fact that Draco is a villain, a foil for Harry, and because the stories are about Harry, Draco is also all about Harry. But honestly. JKR, how I love thee...perhaps you took it just a touch too far. Whenever we see Draco, he's obsessing about Harry. His father tells him to shut up about it already. When Harry and Ron polyjuice themselves into Crabbe and Goyle, Draco is still talking about Harry. Draco is caught on several occasions sneaking around after Harry, spying on him. (Most notably in the film, when he's alone and peering through the window of Hagrid's hut.) He doesn't actually bother with the mudbloods that Harry isn't particularly close to...how many times do you see Draco harass Seamus? He picks on Hermione because she's Harry's friend. His antagonism toward Ron seems to be inherited, but note that he doesn't take on Fred or George, and not even Ginny. Just Ron. Draco goes out of his way to notice what bothers Harry, what scares him the most, and concocts elaborate plans to exploit this knowledge. (Dementor imitation, anyone?) And don't even get me started about those 'Potter stinks' badges. If that isn't classic crush behaviour I don't know what is. I think we can safely say that Draco is holding up quite a torch for Harry, which is hardly surprising. Draco is ambitious and attracted to power; he cultivates it in his own life, and is intrigued by people who wield it. Other than Voldemort, who holds the world's attention more than Harry Potter? He is keen to knock him down, obviously. He is jealous and annoyed that the famous kid isn't on his side. There is hardly a point when those two are at their most passionate when they aren't facing each other. - filched from The Ivy Blossom Manifesto (she's a GREAT writer, btw, absolutely amazing! And no wonder, in her bio she says she has an undergrad degree in English and History)

You know, I read somewhere that the reason Draco hates Harry so much (and suffers angst from it or so some authors claim) is because Harry rejected his offer of friendship and therefore Draco himself. Well, I mean, it's obvious from the books that Draco was pissed off about Harry choosing a "Muggle-lover" over a pureblood, and bothers Harry to no end about it, but one has to admit that Draco truly carries obsession into a form of art. It was more obvious in the movie than in the book, but Draco really did carry it pretty far when he talked about Harry even in the Slytherin dungeons. But, well, I've often thought that if Harry's parents hadn't been killed, if he hadn't grown with his awful relatives, if he'd grown up a normal wizard in the wizarding world, then perhaps he wouldn't have found Draco's manner so offensive in Diagon Alley, and subsequently he wouldn't have rejected Draco's offer of friendship, and wouldn't have cared either way if the Sorting Hat placed him in Slytherin or Gryffindor (unless, of course, he really wanted to follow in the steps of "mum" and "dad"). So then, (here's the scary part) perhaps Draco and Harry could have become the best of friends, romping the halls of Hogwarts... Imagine the infulence they'd have on each other! Would Draco become less of a snot? Would Harry become quasi-evil due to Draco's influence (because I can totally see Evil!Harry - he just has such a capacity for it! And cruelty too! Did you see the violent way he treated Dobby?)

Anyway, I liked "Origins" by Ivy Blossom, but I find that I have to subscribe to her Yahoo Group Veela Inc. if I want to read the sequels... I'm trying to subscribe now.

XD;; So, I just submitted my SIR (statement of intent to register) to UC Berkeley. Now, I have to apply for housing. I like the Foothill dorms, but I hear that Clark Kerr dorms are also nice. However Clark Kerr is too far from campus... *crosses fingers for Foothill* Well, I don't think I'd mind Unit 3 either...

Playlist: Obsession - See-Saw

O__o wow, I was cleaning out my email, and I got rid of more than 50% of the 68% that took up my inbox. The only stuff left are various correspondences from Melissa, Vinita, Jean, Spartacus, and random stuff I felt that was necessary to keep a little longer. Actually, most of them are emails from Spartacus... ^^;;;; He's probably the only one I email at an almost frequent interval...

Aaa, can't stay long, must go back to homework...

Playlist: Flying People - Core of Soul

Today was Cal Day. It was fun. Me n Maryam had lunch with Jean and her family. Then Maryam and I went to see the movie Better Luck Tomorrow. That was... somewhat disturbing. But it was a good movie. We met Joe on the way, and he came to the movies with us.
